Start from the Ground
You don't need to climb up. Walk around your home and look up at the roof from a few angles. You're checking for anything that looks off compared to how it usually looks:

- Debris or branches sitting on the roof
Check Inside Too
Head into your attic or top-floor rooms after the storm passes. Look for fresh water stains on the ceiling, damp insulation, or any daylight coming through the roof boards. These are signs that water may already be getting in.
Don't Climb Up Yourself
